The filter, in the shape of the Indian Mother Earth Symbol is of polyethylene and is designed to prevent any residue from entering the ear canal.

Ear Candling has been handed down by the Hopi, an ancient nature loving tribe of Native American Indian. This treatment has also been used by Egyptian Prophets and the Mayan people on a spiritual level, and by the Native Americans to cleanse the ears of excessive wax, ticks and mites.

What happens in a session?

Client lies on side on couch; Candle is inserted and supported by therapist throughout treatment. Ear is massaged and then procedure repeated on other side, concluding with light facial massage. Session takes about 1 hour.

What can it treat?

 Excessive or compacted Ear Wax

 Tinnitus

 Ear or Sinus Irritation

 Headache

 Migraine

 Sinusitis

 Rhinitis

How will I benefit?

As the candle burns the warmth softens ear wax and the chimney effect gently draws any debris outof the ear canal and up into the candle. The action of the flame gently massages the ear drum. Peripheral blood circulation is stimulated by the heat which in turn strengthens the lymphatic / immune system.

Massage of the energy points and reflex zones on the ears, and the stimulation of the sinus points on the face completes this soothing, cleansing experience.
